View Full Version : Labtec webcam driver help wanted

Hello, i am new to this forum, i have just installed Fedora 8. :)

I want to install driver for my web-cam, i understand it right i need to to install a spca5xx driver from here? (http://atrpms.net/dist/f8/gspca/)
I have tried searching forums and web but i cant find out exactly what driver i need, and do i have to do something with the kernel?

this is from lsusb:

Bus 002 Device 002: ID 046d:c03d Logitech, Inc.

uname -r : 2.6.23.9-85.fc8

I am no specialist in Linux, so all help appreciated.
