I'm running x86 64-bit Fedora 7 on a Dell Precision 690 (with the latest patches kernel 2.6.23.8-34.fc7 and I noticed in the messages log the following keeps appearing over and over again:

It displays this when I reboot the machine too.... any ideas?

I have the same issue but with a FATAL ERROR:

EDAC i5000 MC0: FATAL ERRORS Found!!! 1st FATAL Err Reg= 0x4

EDAC i5000 MC0: FATAL ERRORS Found!!! 1st FATAL Err Reg= 0x4
EDAC i5000 MC0: >Tmid Thermal event with intelligent throttling disabled
EDAC MC0: UE row 1, channel-a= 0 channel-b= 1 labels "-": (Branch=0 DRAM-Bank=0 RDWR=Read RAS=12870 CAS=0 FATAL Err=0x4)

Running: FC 6 on an ASUS DSBF-DE with Kingston 1GB 240-Pin DDR2 FB-DIMM DDR2 667 ECC memory

Interesting... wonder what it could be, I mean right now it doesn't affect anything so far that I know of.... maybe when I get around to upgrading to Fedora 8+ it may go away...

I've being having the same ones and don't have any clue.

I have no idea, we've switched to a more stable Red Hat Enterprise 5 WS and there's no issues...
