in my system monitor i found this anoying process:
"exe" , "pid 2505", "0 bytes" (/usr/bin/pulseaudio --log-target=syslog)

can anybody tell me whats this- if its normal to exist in fedora?

i installed everything from the default repositories plus livna. The only things i have "outside" them is eboard (from official eboard site) and flash (from adobe), and i just have one user (myself) on the system.

Tks from help.

hmmm :))) ok ! tks. well they should change the name of the file. (Ahi.device (if you know Amigas) could be an option...)

Well, this is the 1st problem I get with fedora.
I changed recently from Ubuntu Gutsy (dont like it) and I had a big surprise with fedora 8.
Last time I tried RedHat was with 6.0... then I just switched to winblows, just because AWE 64 and terratec dmx6.

Although, I allways remember RedHat 6.0 as my fave x86. The "Plane" of all OS.

This Fedora 8 is astonishing great. State of the art. 0 errors. The only thing lacking is a better Add/ Remove software system. I found if i remove a program, all the others required keep up in system.

Lots of tks, Stevea, and Happy Christmas December!
