I modified xorg.conf file, to make my mouse work on startup, and added some code to corg.conf file.
Now when I\m trying to start my fedora 8, the X isn't starting and says that I have problems with my mouse settings etc.

How to to backup or safe mode or something, to fix corg.conf file again. (i don't have a backup file)

try

as root

cp /etc/X11/xorg.conf /root
cp /etc/X11/xorg.conf~ /etc/X11/xorg.conf
gdm-stop

So you deleted your xorg.conf file. Then what?

You can run without a xorg.conf ;)

Really? Where does the system get the info that it would normally get from xorg.conf then?

Ah. I see. And you see that I don't spend a lot of time reading documentation. Thanks Leigh.
