which type of package i can install on fedora b'cos in debian user i want to use fedora
on debian i use .deb package.
also where to find install package in fedora just like aptitude in debian

And there I am over in the Debian forums asking basically the same question. Fedora packages are .rpm and .tar.gz for the most part. If you want to install an application in Fedora you can use yum, yumex, synaptic (if it's installed). There's also Add/Remove Software under the Applications menu. To use yum you open a terminal as root or using sudo and type yum install packagename. Yumex is a GUI front end to yum. it needs to be installed as it's not by default. Type yum install yumex in a terminal. There's also the man pages for yum. man yum in a terminal. Then there's the Smart package manager. yum install smart smart-gui. Have fun.
