A HD 2900 GT should be arriving at my door today, I am curious is anyone using any of the HD series card with Fedora 7 or 8?

Should I go ahead and use this driver and follow the ati instructions (https://a248.e.akamai.net/f/674/9206/0/www2.ati.com/drivers/linux/linux_8.42.3-inst.html) for install .
https://a248.e.akamai.net/f/674/9206/0/www2.ati.com/drivers/linux/ati-driver-installer-8.42.3-x86.x86_64.run

Or will the tutorial here work ? http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=155503&page=1&pp=10

Any insight would be helpfull

Thank you

My guide uses the same driver and should work with your card
