View Full Version : Where did SkyRocketing screensaver go?

Hi everyone!

I've noticed that GL screensavers named "SkyRocketing" and "SkyRocketing (Silent)" desapeared from Fedora 7 list of screensavers after an update. Why did this happen? I really liked that screensaver. Was it too buggy? I've never seen any bugs in it. Or maybe its name got changed? I've installed all screensavers that were available from repository including extra ones, but it's no more there.

Please, people, speak up if you know something about this.

Thank you!

It's part of the "rss-glx-gnome-screensaver" package on my system.

Hmm, that is strange. I don't get what is going on then. Look at the screenshot attached. You can see that "rss-glx-gnome-screensaver" package is installed, but Skyrocketing is missing from the list of screensavers.

I uninstalled that package and installed it again, but still no result. Furthermore, I installed all available extra screensavers packages and it's still not there, even though it was there before. After one of recent updates that screensaver just vanished...

Have you installed all recent updates as well?
