The laptop I am trying to install Fedora Core 6 onto does not have internet access.
It is a Dell inspiron 7000 with an intel pentium 2 processor, which i think is 500 mhz.
The fedora 8 live cd did not work, so I am downloading all the images for 6 to do a complete install.
questions:
1. Do i need to copy the downloaded files onto the laptops hard drive? Or can i simply burn the .iso images to the disks, and insert them into my other laptop to do the install.
2. Do i need to have a windows partition, or can i just have one partition for linux, and what kind of partition should it be?
3. Does anyone even know if this version of linux will work on that laptop....?
