Hi!

I am trying to upgrade FC7 to FC8 and after i select the FC7 partition to be upgrade, the following error message appears:

Error mounting device SDA6 as /boot. No such device or adress. Devices in /etc/fstab should be specified by label, not by device name.

The only option that is showned is to reboot and the upgrade is aborted, what can i do to solve this issue?

My /etc/fstab file looks like this:

# /etc/fstab: static file system information.
#
# <file system> <mount point> <type> <options> <dump> <pass>

tmpfs /dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0
sysfs /sys sysfs defaults 0 0

You need to use e2label to uniquely label each partition.

Then, in fstab, use LABEL=<label> instead of /dev/sd**
