2 questions:

1. Is there a difference between an install from a F8 install DVD and a live DVD?

2. Where is there posted a complete install and desktop guide much like the ones on Redhat Fedora's website EXCEPT one can print the entire doc instead of page by page?

Thanks, a newbie

Actually, there are several 'Live DVD' listings http://fedoraproject.org/get-fedora . What's really involved is that the X86_64 doesn't fit on a standard CD, which created a minor fuss when Fedora7 listed them as Live CD's. I imagine that the developers decided to use the term to make sure people used the appropriate media for the size of the iso.

Thanks, but to clearify my question the docs at fedoraproject.org must be printed pape by page with no option to print the entire doc that I could see. Is there a source that can accomplish this?

I think you can grab it from cvs only :( My bad I remember seeing a downloadable one or maybe I was imagining it.

1) Yes. Refer

http://docs.fedoraproject.org/release-notes/f8/en_US/sn-Live.html#sn-Differences-From-a-Regular-Fedora-Install

2) AFAIK, not yet. The desktop guide is being revised to include more information and when the revised gets published it would have more such options.
