I cannot get Ruby syntax highlighting to work in Xemacs. Other highlighting modes, like LaTeX and C, work fine. But with Ruby, only string literals and comments are highlighted. I've tried the solution described below to no avail:
http://blade.nagaokaut.ac.jp/cgi-bin/scat.rb/ruby/ruby-talk/187489

I'm running FC7:
Linux version 2.6.22.4-65.fc7 (kojibuilder@xenbuilder2.fedora.redhat.com) (gcc version 4.1.2 20070502 (Red Hat 4.1.2-12)) #1 SMP Tue Aug 21 22:36:56 EDT 2007

I've tried this with both xemacs 21.4.21 (sumo) and 21.5.28 (what yum installs). It happens whether or not I run "xemacs -q".

Any help much appreciated. Thanks.
