Can someone give me a hand. I am not a newbie to computers. I am very good Windows systems and support Solaris at work, but I can't get this. When I try installing F7, It gets hung up on formatting the harddrive. I got no info while in the GUI, but when I do the same tasks in text mode, it stops at 16%. Does this mean anything to anybody? I am using all default settings. Below is the relavent computer info.

Imperial Notebook D8P
Promise Ultra100 Controller
80 MB HD

Thanks in advance!

It is HDD error ,look in to errors virtual consoles Ctrl+Alt+ F2 ,F3,F4.

Isolate part of HDD after 16% (leve some free space while making partitions and try it.)
