View Full Version : Citrix Server vs Published Applications

I'm running Fedora 7 and using Gnome. I have installed and configured the Citrix ICAClient. Our company does not use web based Citrix sessions so this has nothing to do with Firefox.

When I have the citrix session configured to connect to the "server", setting under Network inside the client, I connect to our main Citrix server at work. I am connected just fine and I can run what I need to, however, I'm really not suppose to be working off of this server. What I would like to do is be able to connect to "Published Applications" rather than the server. This would bring up a citrix window with the various published apps (just like it sounds, and probably what many see when running in MS Windows)

The problem is when I have the Network setting set to "Published Applications", after I am asked for my user name / password a screen pops up and says that "You do not have access to logon to this Session"

Any ideas what this means or how to avoid logging directly into the main citrix server?
