View Full Version : Lost in a sea of hdtv

I'm looking to add television functionality to my FC7 system. I was ready to go with the Hauppauge 150 when I started considering going for an hdtv card. Unfortunately, options for hdtv cards are much slimmer. I would like to get the Hauppauge 1600, but alas, no linux support. Here's a few cards I'm considering. Any feedback would be appreciated.

pcHDTV-5500 (http://www.pchdtv.com/) This is made for linux, but it's a bit pricey and lacks on-board recording, so it would be a huge drain on my computer's resources.

ATI HDTV wonder (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815294001) This is the also a little more than I want to spend, but it seems to be a well liked card and might be worth it.

KWORLD 120 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815260007) This is a very inexpensive option. Even at full price I could bundle this with a Hauppauge 150 for more recording capability.

I'm open to any other suggestion. Thanks.
