I need help accessing my drives on Windows Xp. i know how to do this on fedora core 5 but someone told me its different on fedora core 7.

If some could assist me in the right direction with a link or so, i would be greatly appreciated

first you need to install the ntfs-3g driver, as well as the ntfs-config package

su -
yum install ntfs-3g ntfs-config
create the directory that you want to mount the XP drive to ( in my case the directory is... )

mkdir /media/XP
then run the ntfs-config utility which is pretty self explanatory

ntfs-config
then

shutdown -r now
reboot
