Hi,

I try to install Winamp, but before that I must install Xfree86-libs.
I installed Xfree86-libs that:

rpm -i /root/Desktop/XFree86-libs-4.3.0-55.i386 .rpm

But when I reboot my computer, at boot time initialize only :
starting udev - OK
after that it's only black screen and can't start nothing

I'm with Fedora 7.

Please help me...

Winamp is crap idea as there are far better linux alternatives than trying to run and windows exe in wine .

try ( exaile , amarok or rhythmbox )

su
rpm -ivh http://rpm.livna.org/livna-release-7.rpm
yum install exaile gstreamer-* amarok*nonfree rhythmbox

P.S you have probably screwed up your fedora install by installing XFree86 ( this isn't a fedora rpm ) as fedora uses xorg instead.
