 I need to format a partition and re-size one, but I cant setup a bootable CD or floppy and would like to know if that task may be dun in fedora 7 using a downloadable app.
If I cant I wont be able to access the space fore a software I need.
Pleas anyone.

You can use parted with the gui frontend gparted. Only thing you have to unmount any of the partitions your are working with.

+1 gparted.

If you get the live CD from their site, you can boot off it, run it then boot back from your resized disk.

Hy,

Actually i am on fedora 7 and i've got a /home partition which was done manually.
The question is when comes time to install fedora 8 can i keep my "/home" partition. I mean i've to format all the others?

Forget to tell that i am on dual boot, so what about windoz!!

Thanks
