Hello! I am new to Fedora!

I downloaded version8 test 3 I686 ! I like it a lot and i would like to use a version that is more stable and that I can use day by day!

I saw on the download page many versions! Which one is the best?

Fedora-7-i386.torrent

This one is good? I would like a version I can install to the hard disk.

The fedora I installed now is for I686 arhitecture, i386 won't work, is it?

Appreciate any help! :)

Hi eutu9.

i386 will work, even if you are running a 64 bit processor. The full DVD iso (disk image) would work fine for you. However, it may take quite a long while to download. The "LiveCD" version takes a lot less time, and you can install to the computer from it. However, you will need a good internet connection to complete adding packages and options, as many are not included on the LiveCD to save space.

Fedora 7 is going to be your most stable choice. The Fedora 8 options are test releases and are for debugging before the official release of Fedora 8 in mid November.
