I used THIS (http://www.howtoforge.com/the_perfect_desktop_fedora7_p6?) how to from the howtoforge to get everything set up under fedora 7. section number 12 is the multimedia codecs installation. They say to open a terminal as root and type

wget ftp://mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases/codecs/all-20061022.tar.bz2
tar xjf all-20061022.tar.bz2
mkdir /usr/lib/win32
mv all-20061022/* /usr/lib/win32
rm -fr all-20061022*

when i do that, it get this error

bash: command 'wget' not found

can anyone help me with this problem?
thanks.bj

Here's what I get when I try the command.
[glenn@toshiba ~]$ wget ftp://mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases...0061022.tar.bz2
--20:20:36-- ftp://mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/releases...0061022.tar.bz2
=> `releases...0061022.tar.bz2'

No such file `releases...0061022.tar.bz2'.

The file doesn't exist but to see why wget didn't work try it again but use /usr/bin/wget instead... If you go to www.mplayerhq.hu you can find the coded packages you need.
