View Full Version : pilot-xfer works gnome-pilot doesn't

25th August 2007, 11:14 PM
I have the following rule setup:

$ cat /etc/udev/rules.d/10-visor.rules
BUS=="usb", SYSFS{product}=="Palm Handheld", KERNEL=="ttyUSB[13579]", SYMLINK="pilot"

The rule seems to be working because I can get pilot-xfer to work like so:

pilot-xfer --port /dev/pilot --list

However, when I run gpilotd-control-applet I get nothing--no connection at all. I've check /var/log/messages for clues. I've run gpilotd and gpilotd-control-applet from the command line and watched for messages. There doesn't appear to be any message indicating what is going on.

Has anyone seen this before?
