hi all,
I followed instructions in http://fedoranews.org/cms/node/2853 to add complete support for my fedora installation. But all of the movie players like vlc or mplayer or totem or gxine are giving me error when I try to open any movie file such as .mpeg file in windows. The error is same throughout as

some blabla according to player
then The error was 'BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)'.

and the error is throughout same for all mensioned movie players.
however the xmms is playing audio files perfectly such as .mp3

can somebody help me out

I had the same problems when using desktop effects. Turning them off solved the problem.
