Download the yum repo rpm from Adobe and then run

sudo yum update
sudo yum install flash-plugin
I know that this works.

Also note that the Flash plugin is not available for PPC, just in case you're running F7 PPC. If you wanted to install it from within Firefox, you would have to be running it as root. But yes, jbannon's suggestion is the best, as having the repo installed will allow you to easily update to the latest version of the Flash plugin through yum, along with all your other programs :).

ETA I should have said that you have to install the rpm first. You can do this using

sudo rpm -Uvh <name of the adobe rpm file>

Go to http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash&promoid=BIOW and follow the instructions.
