Hi all,
Just wondering how I might find the root trash folder as it doesn't seem to be hidden in /root as it is in Ubuntu.

Hello:

The actual location of root's trash is: /root/.local/share/Trash/files. Another way to find (as root):
locate trashor
locate Trash

V

EDIT: Or, if you're using KDE desktop: open Konqueror and type "Trash:/" (w/o quotes) into the address bar and enter/Go.

If the 'locate' command recommended previously doesn't work, run
[root@yoursystem] # updatedb ## and wait for it.

Hi,

Try in the Desktop directory, at least there is where ".Trash-<UID>" sits in /home/<user> directories - in
/home/<user>/Desktop/.Trash-<UID>
