Ok, this is driving me nuts...

LABEL=/ / ext3 defaults 1 1
LABEL=/tmp /tmp ext3 defaults 1 2
LABEL=/home /data ext3 defaults 1 2
LABEL=/home1 /home ext3 defaults 1 2
LABEL=/boot /boot ext3 defaults 1 2
tmpfs /dev/shm tmpfs defaults 0 0
devpts /dev/pts devpts gid=5,mode=620 0 0
sysfs /sys sysfs defaults 0 0
proc /proc proc defaults 0 0
/dev/sda5 swap swap defaults 0 0

As my fstab will tell you, my labels are kinda off..

I don't want my /data partition to be labeled as "/home" and my home partition labeled as "/home1" but i just don't know how to change the labels...please help. I only want to label my data partiton "data" or "/data", anything really but not "/home"...

I tried changing labels in konqueror but it just isn't as easy as that....

NOTE : The data partition is labeled "/home" because i used it as a home partiton but i later came to my senses and reinstalled fedora with the following layout (So, when first installed it labeled my sda3 as home because i wanted it as home but on the second install it didn't change the label,which if you ask me is kinda stupid.... :mad:

The man page for the command e2label says it does this, but I have never used it myself, so I don't know if there are any hidden dangers.
