When I try to run an .avi file in Totem it tells me that I need a DivX MPEG-4 Version 4 decoder plugin. Where can I get this plugin. I have already tried DivX codec, and the linux version has problems in the files so that doesn't work. Is there any divx mpeg-4 codec for Totem?

Hello:
If I recall correctly ?

If it is totem
then
yum install gstreamer*
or,
If it is totem-xine
then
yum install xine*

I believe the default install is totem and not totem-xine, you can check to see which you have installed with
rpm -aq | grep totem

Hello:
You are going to have a very tough time with Fedora without an internet connection.
Not the best distro in that regard.

You can download the separate rpms from livna rpm.livna.org (http://rpm.livna.org/rlowiki/)
and install toss them all into one directory, then cd to that directory and run
rpm ivh *.rpm
You should first install the livna repo RPM Repository RPMS (http://rpm.livna.org/livna-release-7.rpm) to avoid GPG key issues.

The biggest obstacle that you will have is solving any dependency issues that may arise. Which will mean making a note of the missing packages, then retrieving them and place them in the same directory as the others and once more run rpm -ivh *.rpm

So it may be some trial and error ?
