Hi,

i have migrated an old XP pc into F7. Because of some data i could not erase the old ntfs partition (which still is at /dev/sda1). Now I am searching for a simple Method for unexperienced users to use that partition. One way would be the old fashioned /etc/fstab and use links in the users desktop. But to integrate smoothly with gnome I would just like to see this volume appear in places and/or on the desktop like, lets say an usb-stick.
I think that gnome can handle this with linux-partitions, so it should work, but how?
