Has anyone else noticed that if you just a single tab loaded on
www.dailytech.com, your Firefox slows way down? Is it bad
javascript design? I was just using FF 2.0.0.5 on FC6,
FF was really slow responding to tabs, I realized the only
recent change was loading dailytech so I removed
the tab.... FF was back to being quick again.

I'm not having a problem w/ it. Are you choking on a bad plugin ?

Most likely you are using an ATI graphics card. If so, you will save yourself a lot of frustration by buying an NVidia one instead.

No, I have a Nvidia card (Albatron 6600GT, PCI Express). And the system is
very fast with all the other pages in Firefox, Firefox only slows
down on a few web sites. Dailytech.com is a really obvious
one, when I quit the tab, it speeds right up. I think the issue
might be something with their page design.
