I have both GNOME and KDE installed on my Fedora 7. I haven't used KDE much but i logged into a KDE session this morning and found the strangest thing - my K menu actually displays GNOME's applications menu (!?) I never saw something like this before..

So, i hit ALT+F2 and type kcontrol. Hitting the "Edit K menu" button does nothing! It seems as my K menu just decided to walk away :)

How can i fix this ? I want to revert my K menu to it's original (default) state.

Thanks!

Remove the existing menu button and then right click on the panel and click "Add applet to panel" and select K Menu. This may not work but it's worth a shot.

Oh thanks, but i just figured it out ! :)

I had installed the 'games-menus' package and it seems that it was the cause for the messup, so removing it put everything back in order...

Now how can i change the topic title to add a " [SOLVED] " in front of it ?
