View Full Version : Fedora 7 remove the shutdown button from login screen

Hi

i would like that my users on a NIS network cannot shutdown my stations . I using Fedora 7 . No button should be seen in the login desktop . I using KDE for all users.

You will have to find where KDE keeps the login screens. In gnome it is /usr/share/gdm/themes. I dont have a kdm file but then again it might not be installed on mine. Anyway, once you find the login screen you are using it should be a simple matter of just taking the shutdown option out.
