What firewall does anyone recommend for me to install? I won't be going online very often with this computer, I just want something simple to install, free, and n00b friendly. I will be using Fedora 7 x86_64.

firewalls aren't really n00b friendly. the default is iptables, which has a basic gui and can be activated at install time (as well as afterwards of course).

there's also firestarter which is a gui, probably the easiest.

fwbuilder is another gui for iptables (or ipfilter/ipchains etc) but not for n00bs.

Thanks sej7278. I wasn't aware Firestarter was for Fedora. I used it in Ubuntu before and was happy with it.

The default works fine and a noob will not even need to get involved to broswe , e-mail, and torrent or lftp.
