Hi all.

I am trying to configure a file server. I built a raid 1 array and simulate failure.
I configured scheduled backups. My problem is with Samba.
I am trying to configure samba but with no luck.
I download the latest samba available from the Add\Remove and also download Samba-Server-Configuration.

Create some folders and shared them. also set users and password. everything seems O.K. When I am trying to connect to the server it asks for user name and password I write the user name and password and I can see the shares. But I can't enter anyone of the shares.
I am getting a message that I don't have permission to enter and I need to check the user name and password.

I create a user and set smbpasswd -a almog
Set a password and didn't got any error message.
the smb.conf share looks like that

[Almog]
Path = /home/almog
browseable = yes
read only = no

/home/almog folder has "almog" permission

Thanks
