Does some one knows where the command man gets his information from?

I installed Fedora 7 on a USB stick but it's a little to big so I wondered if I can make it smaller by deleting some manuals wich I will never use ;)

Someone else got any sugestions to make Fedora thinner? :P

How odd that the information you seek is contained in what you are trying to remove. Look at:

man man

With the price of usb sticks, I would just get a bigger stick.

Good Luck

From man man

Man will try to save the formatted man pages, in order to save format-
ting time the next time these pages are needed. Traditionally, format-
ted versions of pages in DIR/manX are saved in DIR/catX, but other map-
pings from man dir to cat dir can be specified in /etc/man.config. No
cat pages are saved when the required cat directory does not exist. No

Usually they go to /usr/share/man/
