Hi all. Those that worked with ubuntu and gentoo may have noticed that the syntax highlight in the console and terminal (with white on black color scheme) is much darker in fedora.

After enabling real transparency, the sytanx highlight the terminal with white on black becomes even harder to read. So can anyone give me a pointer to where I can set the color of the syntax highlight?

Thanks in advance.

Console colors are straight ansi sequences that you can adjust in .bashrc - see the dircolors for examples. If you are using konsole, you can adjust the min/max ratio of the transparency to get a usable konsole operation in KDE at least. Sometimes you need to use light background instead of dark background depending on the picture.
