F7 - updates timeout

Hi,

got most things working - just two oddballs at the moment.

Firstly, the "Software Update" doesn't work at all - it just times out after 2 mins. Same with "Add/Remove programs"

[Errno 4] IOError: <urlopen error (110, 'Connection timed out')>
Error: Cannot open/read repomd.xml file for repository: updates


Internet/POP3 working fine, apart from there being a few seconds delay in web page response.

Second problem is audio related, but that may be because I have no mixer!

Any ideas why I cannot update? I have turned the firewall off and SELinux to disabled.

Got the package updater sorted - Set bootp and applied DNS servers

Seems to work

Now the audio...

OK, what's this crud about?

Can't update now at all... how do I fix this? Is there a file repair utility?
