I have FC 6, windows me. and windows xp installed in my system. My internet connection in my area will be over so if I have to reinstall fc6 my whole installation of mp3 support and varoious other support (driver and softwares) will be over. As faced before if I try to reinstall any of my windows operating system then the whole boot up screen goes off. and then if i try to get back the fc6 it may be possible by going to linux rescue mode but I get unable to retrive the windows(s) in my boot up screen. can anyone give me a clear idea how to deal with it. I meant how can I manually configure to boot with the option to go to FC6, Windows Me (in c drive) and Windows XP (in f drive).

Thank u

read the manual for grub-install and understand how it works
take a copy of /boot/grub/grub.conf
reinstall the windows os
run /sbin/grub-install from the rescue disk
