View Full Version : Fedora updates

After a little "doing", I was able to get video to play in my web-browser (firefox).

Lo and behold, 20 minutes later, a message popped up on my computer stating "82 updates available". If I accept these updates, wholesale, am I going to potentially blow away the changes that I've made to get video to play in firefox?

Thanks for any input.

No the updates will not affect the settings of the your firefox application.

Thanks for the answer... now, when I go to run those updates... it fails on missing dependencies. How can I correlate the missing dependencies with the *.repo.

Thanks, Joe

If you have a dependency issue, then open a terminal and log in as root and run
yum clean all
then run and post the output of
yum update

so folks can see exactly what the dependency issue relates to.
