In my Fedora 7, I installed beryl. It works fine.
But when I enable beryl, I can't change resolution to 1280x1024 using gnome-display-properties.
If I change the screen resolution from 1024x768 to 1280x1024, part of the screen is black!! (gnome-display-properties works fine without beryl on)

See the screenshots in the attachment. Anybody knows why?? Thanks in advance.

Just a thought. Maybe your /etc/X11/xorg.conf file needs to include 1280x1024, if it doesn't already?

Nope. Thank you for your reply anyway.

It is said that Xorg Server 7.2 doesn't have to point out clearly like modes "1280x1024" in the device section. But I did include it mannually, and without success.

Everything works well with beryl except changing screen resolution with gnome-display-properties.
