Has anyone had problems downloading F-7-i386-DVD.iso with Windows?
When I try, both XP and 2000 interperts the little loader program as an image file and
refuses to execute it.
This is new to me. All previous Fedora Core CD.iso's downloaded perfectly.

Thanks for any help.

Did you change the settings in Firefox, IE or whatever to restrict image files? I'd try using alternate browsers and see if the problem persists (maybe Opera?).

The Windows XP and 2000 have Micro$oft Internet Explorer.
XP is version 6.0 SP2, and 2000 is version 5.00 SP4.
I don't know how to tell then to ignore what they think a file is for.

RedHat 9 with Mozilla 1.2.1 downloaded the F-7-i386-DVD.iso file perfectly, however
that system is unable to burn a DVD.

messenger, i used a download manager called "flash get" it integrates well with Firefox and IE. It worked great to handle the larger iso file and allows you to throttle the download speed, etc.

Thanks into 311. That looks like an excellent download tool. I'll be trying it soon.
In the meantime I solved the problem the Old Fashion Way. I ordered a DVD by mail.
