View Full Version : Beryl && Screen resolution problem

3rd June 2007, 11:12 AM
I installed a new Fedora 7 instead of my FC6 now this morning.

When I try to install Beryl everything works fine, but when I start it everything turns white. I can only see a little when I alt+tab between windows.

Then, also, I tried to modify the xorg.conf as it says on the beryl page, and it didn't want to go with that config, as I did a slight mistake and put a wrong command into it. Then it wanted me to input some settings like resolution, and I set 1280x960 as resolution, that is what I'm used to, and it is my screens native resolution. But now, when I go with it in Fedora, it won't show me all of the screen. Some things is getting clipped out of the edges. There is no possibility to change this in my monitors settings.
I've had exactly this problem with Fedora Core 6, but I can't remember how I solved it.

Hope I can get some help here! =D

EDIT: To see the full screen, I have to stick to 1024x768... =(

I've got some strange lag kind of thing. Nothing's working as I want it to, at least.

Ok, it seems like I missed the nvidia drivers, after all. =D
Downloading them solved both of my problems.
