Just an FYI for people who want to run Beryl on an ATI card on Fedora 7 without the ATI fglrx drivers.
I works like a champ! I got a cube!
I spent hours and hours trying to get it work on FC6 with fglrx, and could never get it working.
Beryl works just fine on F7 without the proprietary ATI drivers.

The only catch is X1000-series cards aren't supported yet by the open-source drivers :(

It's in Extras or if you use F-7, the giant repo :D

The only "little thing" is that beryl still has the dna-theme as default in the cube top and bottom. I have changed it to flying high. Just a matter of coherence.

Any ETA on that? I'd love to run Beryl on my X1400(mobile).
