It took 12 hours to update the 333 packages as shown by YUM Updater . Unfortunately at the end of all downloads there I got an error , saying that one file is in conflict with other one , then just exited .I cannot use the Ad/Remove program(pirut) in Applications ,as it only says : Another application is running......

What shall I do at the momenet to have my 333 packages intalled on my laptop /
To download Fedora Extras , is there any updater to download all of the Extras without just going to the webiste and download one by one ?

Regards .

You can install yumex if you don't already have it:

# yum install yumex
then you will have a gui that will show all of your
packages that need updating. If there is an error you can then
view the yum log and then see what the offending package/s were
then go to the package "queue" and deselect the offending package/s.

All of your downloaded packages should still be in cache so rerun the updates using yumex.

Did you by any chance have freshrpms and livna both enabled?

I found one lib that created a conflict in mplayer. Freshrpms had one version and Livna another.

Resolution. Use the --disablerepo= option with yum.
