Hey Guys

Anybody seen the quick config setup for Smart for Fedora 7? The one that you can add, edit channels and then just click which repos to use. I know you can manually add them in, but the quick config does not make the typos that I do.

Thanks

/usr/share/doc/livna-release-7/livna-smart-channels.sh

Just run the above.

I have run into couple of other snags;

If I try to tun it as non root it spits out unknown error (cli or gui). If I su and then smart --gui works fine. Before (as normal user) you hit the icon and then it would ask for root password.

I THINK the base config is still set up for the pre release version.

I update the base config and it is now setup like normal (release).

The unknown error is still there.

If you enable updates-testing a working smart and smart config package is ready for F7.

Thank you. Cli to use smart was not that bad but was a pita. Amazing how much an s can make (release vs releases in url).

yum --enablerepo=updates-testing install smart-gui

thats the command I did. works great.. installs necessary dependencies too...
