Does anybody know of a lightweight distro that can be installed from a harddrive? My ex wants me to install Linux on a laptop that has no CD-ROM or Floppy Drive and does not support booting from USB...

But seriously there aren't many options, if the laptop has Windows on it then maybe this might work :

You can also buy an adapter at your local computer store that will let you plug a laptop hard drive into your PC, they're usually about $10.
