Hi guys,

Been having a few issues using yum, partly solved through the forums, but not quite.

When I try to install or remove software it gets to the following stage and then stops doing anything:

[root@localhost ~]# yum remove kmod-fglrx
Loading "installonlyn" plugin

I have to kill it to make it stops. Have tried the following from another post:
rm -rf /var/run/yum.pid

I can then reboot and use yum once before experiencing the same problem. Obviously it's not the linux way to keep rebooting!

Thanks.

Livna repo maybe having problems since new release of F7 is close...and maybe traffic is high right now too.
And maybe he's just putting new hardware on line since the hard drive failure.
Wait a day or so.
And a simple ctrl/c key combo should halt yum too.

Cheers, but I think i've got round it. Had to delete the rpm db then re-create it and do a yum clean, seems to have worked for now.
