Hello fellows,

I have just installed an MPlayer, without a skin, and got the Blue one from their site. When I extracted it into my MPlayer folder and run comman 'gmplayer', I get a GUI error that says, "[skin] file (/etc/MPlayer/share/mplayer/skins/default/skin ) not readable", and an OK button.

Does any one know what may be the problem.
Maybe I have plaed my skin into a wrong place, my --prefix=/etc/MPlayer

Thanks.

By default, the skins go in directory /usr/share/mplayer/skins

If you do 'yum install mplayer-skins' (from livna repo I think) they get put in /usr/share/mplayer/Skin

I have no idea why this is so.

Thanks, I guess I'll just use the yam to install the player in whole.

Thanks
