Hello,

where do i find the proper repo for the FC7 RC2 Release. I've downloaded the last ISO (DVD) that was uploaded on 25'th May, installed it - but i can't update.

here's the Error:

fedora 100% |=========================| 3.6 kB 00:00
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/releases/7/Everything/i386/os/repodata/repomd.xml: [Errno -1] Error importing repomd.xml for fedora: Damaged repomd.xml file
Trying other mirror.
Error: Cannot open/read repomd.xml file for repository: fedora

here's my fedora.repo:

[fedora]
name=Fedora $releasever - $basearch
baseurl=http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/releases/$releasever/Everything/$basearch/os/
mirrorlist=http://mirrors.fedoraproject.org/mirrorlist?repo=fedora-$releasever&arch=$basearch
enabled=1
gpgcheck=1
gpgkey=file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-fedora file:///etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY

hope you can help me.

The development repository is the only one that will work at this point. You will have to go into the others and disable them. Personally I wouldn't even fiddle with updating at this point, just enjoy it for a few days and then install the final release when it comes out...

@rjstaaf: i will do that.

I've got my homeserver running with FC6. Do i have to reinstall it also, or is it save to try a upgrade ? Btw. This is the first linux distri that runs without problem on my notebook. Thnx for this nice work who ever did this :)
