I have been trying to update. Here is what happens:

yum update
Loading "installonlyn" plugin
Setting up Update Process
Setting up repositories

That's all. I also did yum clean all, nothing changed. Does anyone know what might be wrong?

It is really slow but eventually it did finish here.

I gave the waiting game a try. I should have figured a time out would happen:

yum update
Loading "installonlyn" plugin
Setting up Update Process
Setting up repositories
Could not retrieve mirrorlist http://apt.kde-redhat.org/apt/kde-redhat/fedora/mirrors-stable error was
[Errno 4] IOError: <urlopen error (110, 'Connection timed out')>
Error: Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: kde
Could this be because I don't have kde configured properly or something?

I've never seen that repo before! But then I don't use KDE, usually updates to the DE come from the regular updates repo. What version of Fedora are you using?

I use FC6. Anyway your response gave me the feeling that the KDE repo isn't entirely necessary, so I removed it and huzah, it updated. Thanks for the insight!
