Hi,

I am running dual operating system on my Dell Inspiron E1505 with WinXP & Fedora Core 6. I have deleted my Linux partition accidentally from DiskManagement. I am not able to boot into WindowsXP.

Everytime i boot my system i am getting GRUB screen. I also tried using my XP reinstallation CD, but still getting the GRUB screen.. Help me to get back into XP.

TIA
Satheesh

Since you deleted linux partition, shall you boot on your XP CD and run fixmbr and something else, think its fixboot?

Search this forum for fixmbr.

Your Win partition is OK. The question is what do You want to do next ?

If you only want windoze than boot the WinXP install disk and do a rescue/repair. If yo want to re-install Linux - the boot the install disk and it will repair the grub bootloader files.

Thank you all. At last I am able to boot from my XP cd and did "fixmbr" at the command prompt, which fixed the problem. Now i"ll install Linux again. :)
