Hello, I have been using Linux for awhile now but still fairly new. This is my 1st time using Fedora since I had Ubuntu before, but after watching some videos on alexgrim.com(I believe he is a member here) I decided to go with Fedora.

Anyway, I just did a fresh install. Everything worked perfect (GUI loaded up and downloaded updates). After I did a reboot, the "loading" GUI showed up but after everything was done loaded the command prompt showed up.

Any suggestions?

I turned on the computer that has Fedora on it to try you suggestion, and BOOM. Theres the GUI. I don't know what happened but I guess It needed a cold reboot.

Thanks for a fast reply.

It can sometimes take a few seconds between the time that the text prompt appears on the screen and the time GUI pops up. ON a slow system, or maybe the first time when init files are being written it may look like it was stopped at the text prompt.
