View Full Version : Corrupt superblock on reiserfs volume.

I have a 250Gb drive formatted in some flavor of reiserfs. It came from a Western Digital Netcenter. The drive is nearly full of data, but the superblock has become corrupt and I am unable to mount it. Can anyone recommend a utility or method to restore the superblock on a reiserfs volume? I have tried the reiserfsck method and I have not been successful with it.

None that I've ever found.

The only two times I've had a Linux drive get so completely hosed out that I couldn't rescue any data -- were on reiserfs. Being a slow learner, I tried it twice. There won't be a third.
